The RP Quest – 20th Anniversary Edition (Industry Partner: Republic Polytechnic)

A style guide was created to build the foundation of the aesthetic look and feel of The RP Quest, this was designed to give its nature of fun, vibrant and safe environment for the whole transmedia experience of The RP Quest. The team has done various research on the colour scheme, brand approach, and the overall look and feel for the experience.
Interactive videos are one of our goals to create a beautiful experience in The RP Quest. Our team has been working hard on this to ensure the flow, and the experience was done with quality, and to ensure its build for our narrative storytelling for the audiences to follow, especially following our adorable animal, Mr Pangolin here!
With the style guide is done for The RP Quest, we follow the directions given closely to build a consistent and bright, fun user interface design for The RP Quest.
These are the characters and badges created for the transmedia experience of The RP Quest, some of the characters are part of the preliminary sketches, to define and see which was suited the best for The RP Quest, eventually, we refined the version of the characters, and went for the Pangolin.
To maximize the transmedia experience and build a smooth journey for our audience when searching for the milestones, our team produced a 360-video experience to find the locations of the specific milestone, this allows the user to be able to find the location of the QR triggers.
Upon completing a feature in The RP Quest, the students and staff will receive a unique AR filter experience to play and share with the others. This augmented reality experience has a unique identifier for each of the milestones, allowing them to share and discover further the untold stories with their fellow colleagues and friends.

PROJECT INFO:

The RP Quest (20th Anniversary Edition) is a transmedia project to commemorate and celebrate Republic Polytechnic’s 20th anniversary. Our team’s objective is to highlight and showcase RP’s significant milestones over the past 20 years in chronological order. Using Augmented Reality, the RP Quest serves as a game for both staff and students to revisit the goals, achievements and success of RP via an immersive experience.
