This Gather.town space is designed by Republic Polytechnic's Arts & Theatre Management Final Year Project students for Singapore Book Council Community Night 2021.
Gather.town is a web conferencing platform which allows for customisation of the space and layouts. Users will be able to move around the room and interact/converse with others - simulating real-life situations. 
Postcard Design (front)
Our FYP team designed this postcard to be given out to the guests, as a token of appreciation for attending the event.
The theme for Community Night 2021 was '_____ Forward'. As a pre-event activity, we've asked the invited guests to fill up the blank with a word of what they're looking forward to in the upcoming year 2022. This word art is the result of the responses received.
As the event was held online, a physical version of the postcards were mailed out to the guests who opted in, while a digital version were sent to all via SBC's eDMs.

Players were given book titles to act/explain to the rest of the guests who has to answer according to the explanation.

This is the area where the guests first arrives at. It is the main area/meeting point for the opening and closing of the event.

PROJECT INFO:
We worked on an event and production management project with Singapore Book Council (SBC) for their annual event, Community Night. For SBC’s Community Night 2021, our team curated fresh and interesting activities to engage SBC’s various stakeholders. We ideated, designed and executed this digital event over various online platforms due to the ongoing pandemic situation. This event successfully gathered a wide range of SBC partners and stakeholders such as writers, illustrators, publishers, arts organisations and arts intermediaries.
