Mempat Florella (Industry Partner: JTC Corporation)
Have you heard? There's a new tech enabled play space in town!
As part of the construction of JTC's Woodlands North Coast (WNC), the Mempat Florella provides an iconic tech-enabled play space for Woodlands residents and adults working at the JTC building. This space serves as a way to activate community spaces and generate vibrancy among Woodland's residents. In addition, the Mempat Florella was also carefully designed to incorporate both the industry's working areas and make it an area that is family-friendly. Be sure to stay tuned for the upcoming Mempat Florella at JTC WNC!

This is the day view of the Mempat Florella. The structure helps to reduce shade for the scorching sun where people want to take a breather outside the office area. Different ages, height of people are able to physically interact with the structure.
This is the night view of the Mempat Florella. It is more mesmerizing at night due to the contrast of light between the dark sky and crystal balls shine.
Advertising investors and JTC can change the screening from the projectors from time to time based on festive or earn a commercial income.
One can even host videos from the projector; to display woodlands history related documentaries and so on.
Projections may change within a few minutes for the public to interact with, also this will attract them to stay a little longer to interact with the different scenes being projected.
This is the intersection of the pillar which contains the 3 different Lego compartments for people to explore, and the scenery inside can be changed accordingly to seasons, events, or sceneries and so on.
This is the top view of the Mempat Florella, the structure has a quarter opening such as to allow ventilation within the structure itself.
PROJECT INFO:
Mempat Florella is a physical structure design proposed for JTC Corporation to display at their atrium for all residents and visitors of Woodlands North Coast to interact with. When illuminated by lights, it looks like a bright flower. The projections will highlight the identity of the Woodlands neighbourhood via the unique artworks for visitors to appreciate. Additionally, we included the use of Lego to demonstrate the manufacturing aspects of JTC.
