Mid-Autumn Festival Mooncake Packaging (Industry Partner: Hotel Continental Saigon)

Our team's intention was to have a resin plate in each individual box on top of the mooncake, seperated by a divider. The resin plate was a marketing strategy to get customers to purchase more as it is a collectable item for this year’s festival.
Brochure containing all the flavours of the mooncakes available.
Something not too complicated but still has class and aesthetically and visually appealing. We believed in something simple yet elegant, something bright but does not have too many bright and striking colours that deter the attention away for customers.

Instagram post to promote the giveaway conducted by the hotel
In Vietnam, they often use facebook instead of instagram. Hence, our team has designed a banner for their facebook page to promote the carnival the hotel is having to celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival with their guests.
Sticker Sheet will be available in the goodie bag given during the carnival featuring our mascot, Munmun!
Goodie Bags will be given out during the carvial to all guests with photo booths, live performances, meet and greets with our mascot, Munmun and purchase counter for the mooncakes!
The carnival will be held at the hotel's patio, welcoming all guests.

PROJECT INFO:
Our team was tasked with creating the packaging design for Hotel Continental Saigon’s mooncakes. We ideated and decided to highlight historic facts and trivia, such as information on the origins of the mid-autumn festival and history of the hotel, with messages to promote sustainability. To provide a more memorable experience for our customers and hotel guests, we also incorporated augmented reality elements into our packaging design to increase its interactivity.
