PROJECT INFO:
Triple award winner of The Crowbar Awards 2022, RiDAR is a bicycle attachment designed by our team to help delivery riders avoid accidents while navigating through walkways and crowded areas (human traffic hotspots).
Using a LiDAR sensor, GPS, and object recognition, the smart screen detects and displays pedestrians in the area within a 10-meter range.
RiDAR warns the rider to take appropriate caution such as slowing down whilst also automatically alerting pedestrians with lights and sound via speakers should the rider get to close to pedestrains.
