Digilite – Contest Entry for Lee Hsien Loong Interactive Digital Media (IDM) Smart Nation Award

PROJECT INFO:

DigiLite was one of the project shortlisted to enter the Lee Hsien Loong Smart Nation Award. The main objective was to improve the digital literacy of the elderly, aged 65 to 75 years old. To achieve this, the team planned a physical scrapbooking activity, which puts the elderly’s memory to the test as they unscramble application screen cutouts, arranging them chronologically onto the scrapbook. Our digital application, Digilite, features interface navigation tutorials and unlimited self-practice using replica interfaces of applications. This provides them with the support and assurance they need to learn how to navigate digital interfaces independently.
