Mingxuan (Max) is a passionate music producer, songwriter, and rapper. He has produced and published over 20 hip-hop, pop, and contemporary orchestra tracks for different projects through various online platforms. He has taken a sonic arts diploma at Republic Polytechnic to enhance his music and technical abilities. In his third year of study, Max interned as a sound designer at MediaCorp in the AudioPost department. During the 5 months, he was involved in mixing, sound designing, and composing for local dramas and variety shows in audio formats such as stereo, 5.1, 7.1, and Dolby Atmos. Meanwhile, Max also provides freelance music and audio engineering service on Fiverr to get himself engaged with real-life scenarios.

In his free time, Max reads a lot of philosophy books. He firmly believes that by extracting ideas and integrating them into his productions, he can produce music that is inspirational.

This soundtrack was made as the background music for a cultural exchange program. It incorporates traditional instruments as well as electronic synthesizers to create a zen vibe that sounds comforting to the audience.
This soundtrack was inspired by an orchestra OST that I heard online. It was rearranged into a more contemporary style which created more excitement that would engage the audience.
This soundtrack was composed as a piece of background music for my final year project. It was meant to celebrate the successful completion of the cultural exchange program. Thus, the whole composition is in a nostalgic mood that highlights the beautiful memories we had during the event.
This soundtrack is an experiment I made to combine house music with traditional instruments. With the GuZheng used as one of the leading instruments, it has added a unique color to this piece of music.
