Final Year Project Showcase

Behind every successful production, it is always the people that made it happen. For this project, we would like to thank the staff from Republic Polytechnic, School of Technology for the Arts, and Ebenex - EBX Event Solutions for the endless support and guidance throughout the whole production.

Additionally, the performances by Arya Yunata, Deflated Monkeys, Iman's League, Krya Band, The Plastics, Quintet Girls, and Our Audio World for making the showcase possible.

Other than live sound, this production also allows the team to learn and apply skills such as event management, production, marketing, artiste liaison as well as overall project management. Here is what Jason does as a Production Manager, Producer & Visual Mixer!

As a Production Manager & Producer, Jason is in charge of planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing the entire production. He also acts as a bridge of communication between the clients, school as well as the production team to ensure the smooth running of the production.

Other than that, all the shots you see from the final showcase is also directed and produced by him, as part of his responsibility as a visual mixer!

What is a production without a Stage Manager? For Chloe, she helps the team to ensure that the artiste is comfortable on stage, and help to solve all the problem that the artiste face on stage. She also helps the Front-of-House Engineer as well as the Monitor Engineer with the soundcheck, by telling the artiste what they should do next.

Other than that, as a Media Producer, she also helps to piece all the footage together, and ensure that it is according to the schedule for the final showcase!

Have you seen our social media posts? All this is done by none other than Brenda, our Marketing Lead for the entire production! She plans the entire social media calendar, design, and post according to the theme of the project.

During the production, she is in charge of multi-track recording, one of the aspects that are very important for this final year project. After the recording, she edits the multi-track accordingly to make the whole song more pleasant to the ears!

As an Artiste-Liaison Officer, Angelina acts as a bridge of communication alongside Jason, where she is always the person that helps to answer the questions that the artiste might have throughout the whole production. During the production, she also helps to ensure that the artiste is comfortable in the venue and that they come on time for the recording.

Other than that, she is also the Monitor Engineer, alongside her responsibility as the Artiste-Liaison Officer to ensure that the sound that all the artiste hears on stage and IEM is comfortable for them!

Last but not least, we have Syafiqah, our Front-of-House Engineer who helps to mix all the recordings that you hear in our final showcase! She also helps with line checks, ensures that all signals went through before the artiste arrives for recording.

As someone that is systematic, she also helps to ensure that the money flow within the production is well controlled.
