Sound Design for Flower Dome (Industry Partner: Gardens by the Bay)

This is the opening track to the audio guide. Some of the instruments, such as guitars, are recorded by the team live. The voiceover talent is one of the team members, Hidayati! There are eight other tracks in the whole audio guide.
Featured in this picture is one of the team members Hidayati, recording the voiceovers for the audio guide. The script covers geological and historical facts about the different gardens that is backed up by research from the team.
Featured in this picture is Kalissa, writing flute compositions. The team composes original instrumentals for the audio guide.
Featured in this picture are Kishen playing the bass guitar, and Alvin assisting in recording. The team records some of their own compositions, such as bass guitars and electric guitars, which is then edited and included in the audio guide.
Featured in this picture is one of the team members Shermayne, working on the different drafts for the album cover. The team working on the drafts for the artworks on Adobe Illustrator. Colour palette used is very neutral so that it would fit in to the different parts in Flower Dome
This is the session for Mediterranean Gardens in Logic Pro. The team uses different instruments for different tracks. For some tracks, instruments used are native to the different gardens so as to create a more immersive experience for the audience.
Features one of the final maps used to guide the audience on the ideal route for the optimal experience for the audio guide, as well as to provide them with the codes to listen to the track for the respective gardens.

PROJECT INFO:

Our team worked on Flower Dome: Audio Guide, which is an immersive guided tour around the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay. Our project goal was to bring Flower Dome visitors around the globe, through a unique take of each cultural and geological sound based on the different gardens. From writing scripts for voice-overs to recording live instruments, we wanted to create a new experience for Gardens by the Bay.
