POPLIN is a fictional fashion magazine. In that issue, I was mostly inspired by the 90s grunge. This whole series was photographed, styled and designed by me.
Software used: Photoshop and InDesign.
The two colours intertwined, forming a unity. The circles represent two different lives. The lines surrounding the circles exist to create the illusion of having two sides and dimensions, also making it like a spinning top toy. Having balance is good, life cannot always be perfect, there needs to be obstacles and we have to be strong to jump over the hurdles. And like a spinning top toy, you need to keep moving to hold on to the balance. Never stop and not let darkness overtake.

Metamorphosis, in short means transformation. Biologically, it’s a transformation/development from birth to adult. The term is mostly used for animals but metaphorically, I see it as change and growth in oneself. Over the years, we do not remain as we were in the past and so I believe that everyone goes through change, for better or worse.
