During semester breaks/my free time, I open up a certain number of slots for commission-based drawings. These are some of my favorite drawings that have helped me improve my technical skills and my attention to detail over the years. As I took Art as a subject in secondary school previously, I explored digital Art after my 2nd Year in Republic Polytechnic as I realized my course was more towards digital media & design. Hence, I decided to try out digital art.

out to newer target audiences and promote both online and offline classes. Understanding their long-term goals, brand research, communication strategy and finally finding a suitable concept/design for them to market to their intended target audience.

A magazine designed for art news as well as how art is impacting the world around us every day. My target audience would-be artists. Mostly artists who are looking for inspiration / wanting to know more about the artist they’re looking for. Artists who are into art exhibitions at museums, also those who would like to purchase paintings for their collections.

A fashion magazine is published every month with an interesting topic about fashion. In this issue, we talk about modest clothing not only for women but men. As well as outfit inspirations of different styles!

Before starting with this assignment, I did a mindmap to find out more about the culture/concept of the Parisian Cafe culture. These are not coffee shops even though they do look like them. They are actual restaurants. Even with that said, they are not found in between shops. They are commonly found at the corners of a neighborhood or town. In Paris, these places serve as a common meeting place, neighborhood hub as well as just a place to relax and refuel. These Parisian Cafes are the center of the social and culinary life in Paris. Moving on, I also created personas to cater to their needs & wants.

In this version, Biggie is the main character & the audience will need to go through all platforms to find out the full story. Every platform is a clue to uncover the full story!

The word antidote is of Greek origin. The word antidote also means a substance that is a form of a toxin which is a drug. This implies that when someone goes on the app they will get hooked like it is a drug. Since it is of Greek origin, the colors used will be a mixture of cream, blues & brown. The app will look mysterious because of this concept & also keep the luxury greek look.

This app is designed to cater to an audience ut 20-30 (my persona) who enjoy shopping online for luxury goods & appaappaappaapparela straightforward interface that allows users of any age to easily navigate through the application.

Done during my internship in 2021 - 2022, I have done up a comic for building Instagram to educate the public about the built environment. This storyline goes as follows: Bob a construction worker faces problems & finds it very time-consuming to be building & stacking one by one, wishing there was another way. Suddenly, a genie appears & brings him to the future. He reminded him of the legos he used to play as a child, relating it to how technology is changing. In the future, there is a new method called the PPVC that is quicker to build & does not require that much manpower.

As a team, we are to come up with collateral with ideas and concepts in design packaging and production for the hotel continental Saigon mooncake festival. This includes the history and heritage of the hotel and the festival. To highlight the magic of the mid-autumn festival as the result of the collateral design while keeping in mind the hotel and its requirements.

In addition to the collaterals, to make the project a little more interesting, we have also added Augmented Reality (AR) into the collaterals we have created to urge more customers to be interested to purchase the mooncakes. This gives our project an interactive element that includes zapper codes that can be scanned directly from customers’ mobile phones without the app itself as well as Facebook/Instagram filters for them to play with.

While working on our main deliverables, my team and I were able to deliver a little more than what was needed. Here are some of the items/collaterals we designed which was out of our deliverables. I, the team leader worked closely with 2 more of my teammates who are stronger in design to create these. I designed the boxes closely with the team's head designer & we split the rest of the collaterals. I did up the goodie bag design, coloring sheet, hand sanitizer, notepad, pen as well as masks.

Inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night. I painted something that reflected my personality & how I see life. In Van Gogh's painting, it was what he sees and he uses contrast but for me, I wanted to try something a little more subtle. Hence, the pink & yellow with a touch of blue here & there. I see Starry Night as an image of how I perceive life when everything is going well, just a bunch of swirls. The tall black/brown thing in the middle is like a block/challenge in life but as you can see the swirls continue, meaning life still goes on no matter the challenge.
