Graphic Designer, Product Photographer, Video Editor, illustrator
Hello! My name is Jaslyn and here are some of my favorite works I wish to share with you. Thank you for taking the time to visit my site, I hope you enjoy these works as much as I have!
Hello! My name is Jaslyn and in the first few slides, I'll showcase some drawings I did using Procreate and Ibis Paint X on iPad. These are posted on my art account on Instagram @sodakaza.
Here there are two introductory posts I did to help people know me a little better and a collage style posts featuring some of my favorite scenes form my favourite Ghibli movie, Howl's Moving Castle!
These are two of my favourites I have done, they're inspired by scenes from Demon Slayer which is one of my favourite animes. The one on the left in particular, I feel most attached to because I drew it after a long period of art block. It stuck for awhile but when I watched the anime, the scene was so impactful and I knew I had to draw it.
These are also more fanart-style posts of some of human characters in the show who I felt had more interesting character designs. So, I wanted to try and draw them in my style and I really liked how they turned out!
Moving on from my own personal drawings, here is a collage of some product photography I took while on my internship! I interned with Pawjourr, powered by The Woof Agency and we work with a lot of pet brands and pet influencers so we often have to take product photography for our sample redemption program.
All these were shot by me and I edited them using Photoshop!
During my internship, I did a large range of works that consisted of product photography, static seasonal or infographic posts, planning, filing and editing videos, even some animations. The fun part was, since our company was small, I was often given the task of seeing every project from start to end. Which also meant that I had a lot of creative liberty, well along with feedbacks to go through.
But here are some Instagram Posts I did using Illustrator!
This is one of the videos I did for my internship for an upcoming campaign! It is heavily inspired by the Brooklyn 99.
I did the animations and effects using After Effects while the colour correction was done using Premiere Pro.
Moving on from my internship works, here is one of the design assignments the school gave. We were to create an 8-page menu for a cozy, warm, Parisian cafe.
The photos and texts were provided by the school. However, I did up the 8-page layout in InDesign and used Illustrator to create small graphical elements as well as the cover and back.
This was another school assignment that had us create an app design for one of the three topics. The topic I chose was a luxury fashion application.
This was done in InDesign and Illustrator, similar to the previous work. However, the texts I had come up with after researching online. The photographs used were also from online sources.
